tasks mixed up between charsFollow

I tried searching for any related problems but got tired of reading pages of forums so i'm starting a new one.
Last night i was on my main a 75 shaman on EQ, i shrouded and camped out to log my 67 paladin. So i get back to where i was doin faction tasks in TBS and look at his quest window, well for instance I had a task to loot 5 undead mariner skulls, i had 4/5 looted previously, only now it says 4/5 and step complete, next step kill 5 things in direwind cliffs! Now i've never even been to direwind on that char but my shaman has tasks involving them zones.
It seems what happened is half my shamans tasks and half my paladin's tasks somehow got intermixed. I'm not sure what if i did anything to cause this, all i did was shroud shaman and camp out to pally. Has anyone else had this happen to them? or know if there's a way to fix it so i don't have to restart all the half done tasks as they won't update right now all messed up :(
Anyways thought i'd mention this lil bug if it is one. I'm not to happy atm having to redo 4 halfdone tasks, not that big a deal but still about 4 wasted hours of killin
