#1 Nov 25 2007 at 1:29 PM Rating: Decent
Hi people, Well I've had trouble from day one with my computer and its graphics card *NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 405*. keep getting the message of *Display Driver nvlddmkm stopped responding, has successfully recovered*. I have windows Vista on computer. Sorry to be a nuisance but i have tried everything what i have read and quite litterally this is my last hope of ever playing FF again untill i can get a new graphics card which could be a couple of months!

Thanks for any help and support which you can give me on this situation.

PS: I should of mentioned this also effects while not attempting to load up FF!

Lots of people are reporting this problem with that wonderful little beast Vista. Have you tried the newest drivers yet?

Yes i tried all the Drivers. It seems to have done sweet nothing. I still get crashes while just surfing the net.

Also have comp that runs Vista and was experiencing same issue. Did alot of updating on drivers, etc to no avail.

Question: Have you upgraded your memory since you bought computer?

I had purchased 1gig stick to go with my existing memory. Vista and or dual core comps require that memory be upgraded identically. If you have 2 sticks at 520 then you should not add 1 stick, you should add 2.

I took my comp in for issues dealing with lag in EQ and the stopped repsonding reports, they ran a scan and found this particular problem. Upon changing my memory all of my woes went away.

Hope this helps
