Not much to do with gaming but...Follow

Well, I got an iPod Touch for Xmas and love the aspect of wireless internet, but I get a "cannot connect to server" message when I try and open Safari, i have 2 Wi-Fi signals up, one to my router and one to my stepdads laptop

Can anyone help me fix this?

connect to your router, if your router has any protection on it (it should have) like WEP or WPA then make sure your I-pod touch has the right network config to connect to the net.

I think it has WEP, but I need toknw how to get into my routers configs

You shouldnt need to get into your router's config to know the WEP or WPA password.

But if you really forgot then look up your router's manual online.

Or post the model number here and ill try and guide you through

I think it has WEP

Just disable it. It's useless.
