I don't purchase music on iTunes myself, but I'm looking for a converter from the now standard iTunes format for audio, which is I believe m4a to MP3. Free that is, I've found so many instances of the same programs with trial downloads. Though any that have an unlimited number of uses but a certain day limit would be fine.

itunes doesnt convert it to MP3?

I know my itunes has an option to "convert selected file to mp3" but not 100% sure it works for m4a. definitely not for m4ps though.

edit: just checked my PC version of itunes and it doesnt have it. my mac version does though. weird.

The windows version should have it, but I'll have to look and see where it's at. I missed the part where he said they were m4a.

yeah for some reason my PC version had "convert to AAC" instead. dunno what the deal is.
