Once again Eske, I have yet to see you start a post that has "intellectual merit." You just ride on the coat-tails of quality Asylum posters.
Granted, there are some posts in the OOT that suck and are useless. BUT, there are some topics in the OOT area that are interesting and well written. These posts even attract some of the Asylumites. The difference I see between the Asylum and OOT is that the Asylumites have the ability to ween out the crap posts and posters by rating them down; OOT posters do not have this ability (in some cases thanks to the asylumites). Think about it...
BTW necro posting is never good; no matter what age (sorry linesred) or for whatever reason. I believe we have our second nominee for best necro post.
Starting a thread is a little bit of a different territory. I think I mentioned it last time you said this, but I'm not chock full of original ideas, and I don't typically watch the news, so I'm typically a little out of the loop with current events.
But as far as my actual posts go, I always write my honest opinion, I try to make myself intelligible and clear, and I have meaningful exchange with other posters. But most importantly, if I don't have anything to say, then I don't say anything.
I'm not suggesting that all of my posts are diamonds of thought-provoking intellectual prowess. But if you're trying to compare me to Linus and those like him, then I'm sorry, but I don't follow at all.

I think if that were the case, then posters like Linus would be rated down by you guys. The opposite, if anything is true.
