So long and thanks for all the fish!Follow

#1 Aug 22 2007 at 1:11 PM Rating: Decent
So sad that it should come to this
We tried to warn you all but oh dear?

You may not share our intellect
Which might explain your disrespect
For all the natural wonders that
grow around you

So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish

The world's about to be destroyed
There's no point getting all annoyed
Lie back and let the planet dissolve

Despite those nets of tuna fleets
We thought that most of you were sweet
Especially tiny tots and your
pregnant women

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish

(yeah)

So long and thanks for all the fish
So sad that it should come to this
We tried to warn you all but oh dear?

(oh dear)

Despite those nets of tuna fleets
We thought that most of you were sweet
Especially tiny tots and your
pregnant women

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish

Is this even a remotely interesting article? Not at all but I haven't had the chance to sing that song in quite some time.

Also an excellent book. Thanks Douglas Adams. You rock.

Your next retort should definitely be a high-pitched, "OH YEAH?? WELL GO FIND YOURSELF A SPIN CYCLE!!"

Or is that showing my age?

Funny thing is, I'm older than you, and I don't have the faintest idea what you're talking about.

I don't understand Pikko's reference either, but I busted out laughing in the middle of work when I saw the title of this thread.

It's sad that he was depressed whn he wrote his last book and SPOLIERS!!!

everbody died. He said his next book would be much lighter and they'd all start off together in the afterlife and be happy, but he died before he wrote it, so it ended on quite a depressing note. A shame really.

I was thinking of something more along the line of Dolphin steak.

I would imagine that Dolphin is much like tuna and you could get an excellent steak out of it. But would it sing to you?

I can always record the Dolphin singing before it's slaughtered and play it back during the meal.
