That's too obvious, it would never work.

Yes I see how my reasoning falls down. Carry on...

I wonder if anyone who gets cancer actually lives?

Nah, probably not.

Oh, well if they've got a chance of living, we better help them go to college, instead of trying to help them survive longer.

Oh, that's right. I forgot this was the only place raising money for anything related to cancer. My bad...

Totally, those cancer patients didn't want an education. Being crushed under the debt of expensive cancer treatment and unable to afford school is absolutely what they want. I mean, who doesn't want a glamorous career flipping burgers at mcdonalds while being unable to pay off their debts?

I think offering scholarships to kids with cancer sets a dangerous precedent and encourages underage smoking. What's next? Are we going to send Dyadem to study for a semester in East Africa or maybe buy Growlingbunny a car? No friends, despite the best of intentions I think this group will do more damage than good, and for that reason my time and money will continue to go toward accumulating marijuana for myself.

Wow.. don't know what to make of this thread. Problem I have with donating to these funds is too many of them end up funding some fat guy who helps run the thing. Also how many people actually get help from this fund. I have known alot of people in the past who have had these diseases/problems that these "Funds" are supposed to help but never get a dime out of them.

It is really a shame that someone that young had to die from cancer but feeding a fund unfortunately will not bring her back.

I dunno ive been smoking since I was 13 and havent had a single health issue come up because of it (yet), I doubt this will encourage underage smoking. Know what will, the new Ontario Law they are trying to pass that prohibits anyone under 19 to posses tobacco products. Don't know about today but when I as a kid 90% of the **** we did was because we weren't supposed to do it. (they also want to leagalize prostitution go figure).

Also it is easy to deny someone a scholarship based on cancer if you as them a simple question.

Have you ever smoked tobacco products including cigarettes, and cigar before. If yes "Sorry but you brought it on yourself, now deal with it".

To be fair, it typically takes more than a year for major symptoms to manifest.

Ya took about 73 years for my grandmother to show symptoms of smoking, or maybe that was just old age who knows.
