The normal things people make sock accounts for are petty, unoriginal, and boring. Why would I want to do those anyway?

It's relatively easy to make a good sock account. 99% of it is being on top of your game when on a different account. Try identifying my mid range post count alt asylum poster if you want to go wabbit huntin'.

What, you mean other than this one?

I'd hardly call 83 posts midrange. Unless you are referring to one of the ones I already killed?

See, now that's the funny thing about sockpuppet accounts. It's easy to claim one exists where there is none such, yet you can't prove it without getting obliterated. Timelordwho, there aren't that many posters in the Asylum, and I know most of them, and historically you have kind of sucked at the sockpuppet concielment game. Your account is littered with them. I dunno, maybe you got this one right on all counts the first time and are posting from a machine / pda phone dedicated to that account via a proxy located at some remote enough destination as to not arouse suspicion, and managed to do so without posting in enough threads to make one suspect a sock. But I doubt it.

Brownduck has the technical background to pull one off, but he'd almost certanly make a ratebot with it to use on others if past history is any indication. I hadn't looked for one before, and nothing is showing of obvious origin, but if its there i'll find it. But I don't think there is one being used as an active posting account if it exists.

I think he would've done that at one time, but I don't think he'd do that now. He's finally assimilated and realized that he's one of us. Also, if he's still no-rated for his earlier shenanigans, I personally think that can be lifted.

Of course, it all might be a clever ruse to fool us all into thinking he's become one of us only to go on to rule the OOT with an iron karma fist....

Didn't they offer him that before and he declined?

It's nice being able to VPN into a remote office when you need to conceal your IP.

No, what you said is true, I just enjoy being able to call people out on their stupidity and not be the prime suspect when someone starts camping them.

Smiley: laugh

Wait... what part is true? The clever ruse or the assimilation? Smiley: um

So what's worse, Kao or a washing machine?
#76 Oct 25 2010 at 3:24 AM Rating: Good
That depends entirely on if Kao lives longer with Calgon or not.
