Where I found out if I get another promotion at work, got pushed up to Technician about a month ago, and now they are looking for a Team Leader for the Tech Team, 3 of us went for the job, and I think it's come down to two of us, for the third wants to leave our department asap, and kinda got pushed into doing the interview (His words were: I may has well have given it a go).
I've got more technical knowledge then the others, and I've had very good reports back from managers who have said customers have been passing back good feedback, on a regular basis.
But I know the other guy does well also, and he very well might have some qualities that I'm lacking!
So yeah, could be a good day, could be a great day - I love my job anyway, so if I don't get this promotion, I can still enjoy my job - Just with less responsibility and no pay rise =P

Working, working, working.
I still need to fit in Christmas shopping, decorating and tree in the coming week. 2 family get togethers and one get together with some acquaintances (I somewhat wish I didn't have to do that one).

Just finished 3 straight weeks of testing, have to go see Santa, shop, take the kids to their grandparents, Milk Punch Holiday Hullabaloo and then throwing a bridal shower on Sunday. Pretty sure I am brain dead...

I was told during my performance review Friday that I should keep up the awesome work for when future positions open up. Then I was told that I don't get a raise or a bonus. Goddamn state pay freeze. 
Tomorrow's the day where I find out if I get a Christmas bonus or not. I've got one every year past, and this year has been an average year so far, with the exception that we just got a ton of work dumped on us due to the failings of an internal partner at once of our agency clients. I'm not holding my breath, but a few extra K would be nice way to end the year.
Also, I've ejected enough mucus today to fill a 32oz cup.

My company doesn't do Christmas bonuses, they wait until mid-Spring. Fortunately I already know what the line item is and that a big chunk of it is going my way. Also, thanks to government services leeches I know I'll get to flush about half of it down the sh:tter before I ever see the check.

Well if I have a bonus coming, it wasn't distributed with the paycheck. That probably means no. Considering all the sh*t I do for this guy so he can reap the profits of a 3 man shop doing big business, the lack of a bonus is highly demotivating. Therefore, I'm going to lunch, and then I'm going to play FFXI from work the rest of the afternoon.
Edit: I did end up getting a bonus. A mere $1000 (or $800 after taxes), but still, it's a bonus. :)
