I feel obligated to say:

Suck it Steelers!

What was everyone's favorite commercial this year? I quite enjoyed the one with Justin Bieber being called a girl.

Bud Light had some pretty good ones.

That one was a good one.

I liked the one with the little kid running around as Vader, trying to use the force. And his dad remote starts the car as the boy "forces" it.

The E-trade one with the cat was cute. I always like the E-trade ones, (but the first one, with the tailor, kinda creepy, not so funny).

The uh... Chrysler, I think it was, ad with Eminem, imported from Detroit. Seemed more like a Detroit ad than a Chrysler ad. A good message, I thought, but kind of a missed target since the consumer really doesn't have much say in the auto industry abandoning Detroit in favor of say... Mexico.

Transformers 3
Pirates of the Caribbean number... 4?
Super 8? (JJ Abrams and Spielberg...) No idea what it's about. My brother said internet rumors were hopeful/promising.
Mars needs Moms? Title of a cheesey Porno? Or dumb animated film...

Reverse-Jurassic Park TV series on Fox coming soon.

All of that would have more meaning if I was able to sit through any football game, let alone a Superbowl, without having copious amounts of narcotics.

If I had a DVR I would fast forward through the game and watch only commercials though.

Just a list of the Trailers/Teasers and Series Promos I remember seeing.

There was also a lot about Chicago Code. I can't help but see that series failing. I just kind of laugh every time I hear him say "You think you can change the way things are done in... CHICAGO!" Such a cheesey, overacted line. Yet they keep repeating it on every commercial.

Well my brother has been telling me for years I need to watch The Shield and this is supposedly the same creator. I still need to watch that damn show. Maybe I'll check this out instead.

Football is about as interesting to me as watching the grass grow in front of a freshly painted fence. Living only thirty miles from Pittsburgh has made it rather difficult to ignore this year. Around here, people look at as if you've lost your mind when you tell that you really just don't give a damn if the Steelers win or not.

I do have that going for me.

I'm really looking forward to that movie Battle: Los Angeles. Looks pretty good, like War of the Worlds if it was better.

Stop what you're doing right now and go find a torrent (or buy it I suppose). That's probably the best damn cop show ever.

Congratulations to Green Bay!

In any other year, you'd have had Chicago folk rooting for GB as the regional team but I guess the wounds were too fresh this time around. I was hangin' in there for the guys anyway even as the rest of the family was for the Steelers.

There are quite a few Bears fans at work and now I have to at least try to bridge the ongoing awkwardness by at least stating they lost to the champions. Lets be honest, the Bears would have lost so it's better this way. Smiley: lol

5 time grammy award winning singer couldn't even correctly do one verse of a song? I think it's safe to say that the american music industry has reached some new level of bad if that's the best they got.
