Google released a new feature today, called +1. We've been +1ing for years, and they just now come up with it? Pssh.
Yes, it's different, but I thought the naming choice was a fun coincidence.

I guess it has some small benefit to returning relevant sites for you and your friends, sort of. I wonder how until marketing groups start paying folks to obsessively +1 particular sites and ads to bump up their traffic.
