As long as my Bruins knock out the Canadiens, I'll be happy. Setting my goals high, eh?

***damn Canadiens! Yea, I hope you beat the **** out of them. Especially after what happened to us last year.

The Bruins will be tough. Actually, the east is up for grabs. Caps, Pens, Philly and Boston are very close. Good luck!

Tea revives the afternoon. When I need a pick me up, I usually go for a "cuppa" tea. I learned that in England.

I actually picked the Caps to win it all, but they'll still have to go through Philly and Pittsburgh... if either of those teams get their game breakers back (Pronger/Crosby) we'll be in for a helluva series. In the west I have Vancouver (hahaha, top seeds) and Anaheim.

Nice to see some Caps fans. Looks like our new system of more defense worked last night.

I'm definitely rooting for the B's too, at least until we would have to see them. Thomas is a beast. Caps and Bruins have shared a lot of players over the years.

I wouldn't say I'm a Caps fan, I just think their new system will work very well in the playoffs. I guess I'm a realist.

The trick will be for Ovy to elevate in the next rounds. Team defense will help you win a bit, but ultimately you need your game breakers to be those difference makers. So far, Ovy has been almost invisible.

Yea Ovi is going to have to score for us to do well. I don't think I'd say he has been invisible though. Maybe on the scoring sheet, but he has been crushing guys so far. After his suspensions last year he kind of backed off from the hitting, but in the Rangers series so far, he looks like his pre-suspension self.

Aren't you in Ontario? And you're not for the Leafs or Sens? You just took a step up in my book.

Well, I technically live in a city with a professional NHL team... The Predators seem decent the past couple of years, but not good enough to actually get very far in the playoffs I think. Being from a state with no major league sports teams, I only recently started paying attention to sports other than football.

Decent? The Predators are perennially in the playoffs, and they don't play a boring style of hockey.

You should really consider yourself lucky to have a team like that.

I suppose that's true. I've enjoyed watching them, but as I said I've never watched hockey prior to living here so I didn't realize that was something special.

Preds are pretty good, and hve really improved over the last several years under the new NHL (before detroit would just out money everyone in that division and beat them all to hell). Unfortunately they have run into a block for some reason, they didn't lose to detroit in regulation all year, yet have dropped 3 straight (the most important 3 they could have lost).

Only issue with Nashville, is that they are one of those southern expansion teams that on way or another get taked about moving north (which will likely never happen because Bettman would rather take money from the 6 canadian teams to pay for his 6-7 underperforming teams in southern USA.)
Stupid profit sharing system, and stupid bettman for thinking hockey would actually fly in places like Florida (x2) Nashville, Phoenix.

Wtf are you talking about? Preds are up 2-1 in their series. Coyotes are down 3-0 to Detroit.
