Hey now! I'm enjoying my preview of next year-no Dice-K!

For what it's worth, I hope he stays in St. Louis. I miss the days when big time players who were madly loved by their fans actually stayed where they were. I hate free agency. Teams should be built through trades and drafting.

Next year isn't even on the radar at this point. The thought of losing our biggest bat and best overall player for 6 weeks at a time when we're already so ****** by injuries is just disheartening.

If there is one thing I hate. It's losing to the damn Cubs!

Not sure why anyone would want to subject themselves to that.

Though you could always be a Royals fan. They are basically a minor league team in the majors. Any decent player always gets traded/leaves to a better team/higher paying position after a season or two.

The Expos already relocated.

Hometown team, and can't stand the Yankees. More so, can't stand the type of fan who loves the team when they're winning, and distance themselves when they're losing.

Well, Pujols was cleared by the docs today to resume play.

The Machine, indeed.

Also, David Freese and Nick Punto are back. Berkman is tied for the league lead in homers and near the top in several other categories, and Chris Carpenter finally learned that if he wants to win, he has to take the ball out of the hands of our bullpen (32 innings pitched over the last 4 games, averaging just below 120 pitches per game in that span, 3 wins in a row to show for it).

Looks like the Cardinals overcame the first big mid-season stumble just fine.

AND: We're still in first place in the division.

You should be able to lose half your team and still lead that division.

Fixed for accuracy.
