AFAIK, he's an Army Sniper/Recruiter who is whipping some recruits into shape this week. Or something.

This is my first event, actually. I'm told I won't get to scream much, but I am to start teaching the basic basic stuff. Marching, making beds, and a little PT. Also some "Your success is everyone's success" team training, so that should be fun.

But yeah, I'm a Army liar recruiter.

God I wish. Best strategy I've found is to just nod, agree, then walk away and do it correctly.

The understanding would be I pretend to accept his decision, then he goes away and I do whatever correctly.

I don't think he quite understands what you're referring to.

Then it is working as intended.

pssst, he meant don't sign up people like Alma. I say do the opposite sign them up and get them into "water purification". If Pauly Shore is any indication hilarity will ensue.

I get the feeling Alma searches Zam for his name to see if people talk about him. Smiley: dubious

Probably, because I see him get made fun of a lot all over Zam, not just in the forums he actually visits (or even just cross-game forums).

Not at all. Don't blame me for creating the same stupid threads. SSM and religion are the only two major topics you people seem argue about. They are at a minimum the most discussed.

That might be because you won't ever quit discussing them. Meanwhile, we have to keep rehashing the same topics because none of the actual decent posters can get a word in edgewise over your moaning and shouting.

This is kind of ********* People choose, of their own volition, to respond to Alma repeatedly over the course of a thread. You don't have to let him take over a thread. It's an internet forum; ignore his posts and talk around him if you don't like it. All you have to do is carry on the discussion with the people you want to.

Spoonless makes a good point. But I think that Alma is just so unremarkable that people forget from thread to thread that trying to reason with him is tantamount to slamming your head into a wall until you die, or about as useful as praying, or trying to beat someone out of a coma, or really any hopeless venture. So they go at it time and time again relentlessly heating away at Alma's very dead horse.
