Do you have anything interesting? Collections?Follow

#1 Jul 09 2011 at 5:35 AM Rating: Good
The TV thread and the questions about the framed posters at my computer desk had me wondering if people of the OOT actually collect or have interesting things?

I have a few interesting things. And have collected others over the years.

Usagi should recognize this rather rare item I have. (I bet lusts for it)

I think I recognize 1 items.

The pink shiney.

I used to have the cassette version of that. And later that CD. I later lost/misplaced both, but I still have all the songs in MP3 form, so it's all good.

Correct! It's the original issue Sailor moon soundtrack! Other observers might recognize the Irresponsible Taylor soundtrack disk.

I have a full set of G1 Transformers in the original boxes still sealed. And almost every series of transformers toys up until the ones made for the LA movie. Most after G1's are opened but were displayed not played with. I do have most of the G1's from when I was a kid too and those are beat to all hell except Megatron. I wasn't allowed to play with him outside, I lived near the projects and my mother thought it would end up getting me shot. Right now they are all in storage due to kids having the potential of opening them and ruining them.

At my dad's, I still have my old collections of matches, tissue packets of different brands and nationalities and soaps. I've mostly stopped caring about them.

I also have a fairly sizable library, but that is distributed over my dad's house, my brother's, Edinburgh and here at the moment. Sucks not owning a house to use for storage, I'm gonna fix that as soon as I can.

I also still have some olde Pokémon cards (teehee) and I left my stamp collection to my mother last summer.

Right now, I am actually trying to avoid accumulating stuff because of the fact that I move countries on a semi-regular basis. Still have some Pokémon and Lord of the Rings figures downstairs, and my friend bought me a little toy rooster on Wednesday (he said I needed a **** for him to... well, you can guess the rest).

I think one of the coolest things I own is a linen bound 1962 edition of Sense and Sensibility.

I collected baseball cards and marvel comics when I was a kid. I haven't seen them in years though, it might be interesting to go through them someday.

Not really interesting, but I've got about thirty coins officers hand out as signs of appreciation. One is shaped like Texas.

I have a rather large Comic book collection. Titles like Gold Digger, Ninja High-school, Catwoman, Caravan kid, Animal Mystic and plenty others all stored in large plastic totes now. I had them in boxes for several years. I began to worry about mice chewing them at my new place and a friend and I refiled them in the totes one day. She was rather amazed when I kept pulling box after box of comics from the spare room. I have seven of the 18 gallon totes filled with comics in the spare room.

Animal Mystic is a very colorful and rare series and I have all of the first additions and many of the rare variants.

Ninja High-school is still in print and I have the first pilot series and #1 up. I also have many rare editions and several signed copies.

I have some Magic: The Gathering cards and Hero Clix stuff from when I used to play both of those. I have a small collection of coins. I have several books I love. And I have my games, including a Sega Master System that still works and in it's original box in the original styrofoam...

I had one of the thick metal "slammers" or whatever chucked at my head. Several stitches and a deep seething hatred for pogs were the result.
