Grats, I still find myself getting roped into smoking like 2 or 3 cigarettes about every third weekend. I really wish I had more self control.

I'm right behind you. The last puff I had was February 21 of this year. I'm doing well now. I don't even think about smoking. Although, when I see people smoking on TV, expecially when everyone on the screen is smoking at the same time at a party, I think to myself how fun that looks. After turning it off the memory of smoking completely fades from me again.

Congratulations! You have extended your life.

Yay, congrats!

I'm at the point now where smoking cigarettes really disgusts me. I still do smoke dokha, but since it's Ramadan I only do at night and I don't actually have any withdrawal during the day, really. So that's cool.

I could never be strong enough to give up smoking completely because I know from experience I just start again every time the exam period starts.

I love being one of those people who don't get withdrawals when I stop smoking.

This thread is misleading; I thought it was about free cigarettes.

I dunno about your insurance details, but I got a pile of leftover welbutrin. It does help with withdrawals. If you don't have a method of getting it cheap, send me a pm.

GARTS!

I quit for six months last year.Towards the end of the six months I was being a **** and taunting my smoker friends with the rare cig every week or two. This was to prove how easily I quit and how strong my willpower was.

Up to half a pack a day now. Smiley: blush

A good friend's wife just discovered the cure for every male smoker on the planet actually. She told him if he could quit smoking for 2 years that she would give him a BJ a day for one solid year. He's on month four I think and still has a smile on his face every time I see him. He lives next door actually and I see him quite a bit. Happiest dude ever. Hates cigarettes.

I didn't get them either, until I started smoking more regularly. I was one of those "Herp derp, I can quit whenever I want" people, so I kept smoking until I couldn't quit anymore.

That is, I don't think I'd be able to quit. I haven't actually tried yet since that'd just be crazy. I didn't start just so I could quit again.

All through the last year I've been on like, 30 a week? Give or take. These days I only smoke when my mind is racing and I need to focus. Strange, considering what nicotine actually does to your physiology. Well, that and when drinking because alcohol and nicotine is a brilliant combination.

I've had my last smoke about 17 hours ago and I don't feel much different. Well, I feel thirsty, but that's probably not because I haven't smoked since last night, so yay for non-cigarettes...?

Seriously, part of the reason I switched to dokha is that a friend told me he went from about a pack of cigs a day to three hits of dokha most days and doesn't smoke every day anymore and it's fine. I can actually confirm that, so far.
