The problem with this plan is that OTTERBOXES ARE ABSOLUTELY @#%^ING HIDEOUS
Ironically, the iPhone is the phone I've kept the longest without destroying it. All of my other phones have either ended up lost or in several pieces.
But if your phone has a microUSB cable, like a lot of them do, you can probably just transfer the data over that. I usually used bluetooth to transfer mp3s to use as ringtones, but I don't know how many computers actually have bluetooth themselves.
