I don't know about Chase, but USAAs Deposit@home and Deposit@mobile requires you to either have an insurance policy or a line of credit with them to use the feature. I don't think Chase requires this, but USAA has a higher daily limit (my daily limit is $10,000, Chase Quick Deposit's
monthly limit is $5000, with a daily limit of only $2000. )
Paper checks are already rife with fraud, so it's not like it could be much worse.
