Not because I dislike going to work on the holidays, mind you. That part doesn't bother me. It's the attitude of holiday travelers that gets me.
Like Mr. "A third party travel website where I booked my room showed a different picture than what my room looks like, so even though the description told an accurate story, I demand to be upgraded, despite the fact that those cost more*. Oh, you can't do that? Well, even though I won't let you tell me that the primary reason is that all rooms of that type are occupied, I'm going to call your manager and have you fired because I work at a five star hotel and you should be able to do everything I demand because I've been driving for twelve hours and it's now two in the morning."
I should seriously reevaluate my whole "I don't take vacations during prime holidays to be nice to my coworkers" policy. /sigh.
*To be fair, he was willing to pay more, but it was kind of irrelevant considering the whole "They're all occupied" thing he wouldn't let me tell him about.
