Karma is a natural force that causes a reaction based on your previous deeds. It can be expressed in many idioms: What goes around comes around, The Golden Rule, For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, etc. I know I'm breaking all sorts of rules here, but something tells me that if we talked about it more it would eliminate a lot of the assh*les around here.

Ahhh....

Well I've been doing it wrong I guess. Smiley: frown

I thought it was more like this:

If someone's making sandwiches, I'll take one with roast beef and cheddar.

That nap before my mid-afternoon work meeting was a bad idea.

I'll have a Reuben hold the saurkraut.

Yes, I know it's not a Reuben then, but that was easier than saying a corned beef on rye with Swiss cheese and russian dressing.

***** roast beef. Prime rib is where it's at.

What about me being guru?

The first rule of the karma system is, you do not talk about the karma system.
The second rule of the karma system is, you do NOT talk about the karma system.
The third rule of the karma system is, if somebody gives up in an argument, everybody else jumps on them to let them know how big of a schmuck they are.
The fourth rule of the karma system is, only 2 people to an argument is lame. Everybody take sides.
The fifth rule fo the karma system is, multiple arguments per thread just means multiple chances for +1s.
the sixth rule of the karma system is no cursing, no trolling (except in the Asylum).
The seventh rule of the karma system is arguments will go on until thread post cap is reached or an admin locks the thread.
The eighth rule of the karma system is if this is your first time here, introduce yourself and then sit down and shut up.

Sorry, I just had to do it. Hope y'all enjoy.

Why are you being such a cockmaster? What did i do?

It's called a joke. Lighten up.

Actually, Bigdaddy's advise here, while meant to be mildly amusing, is actually a pretty good guide for beginner behaviour here. Really, any time anyone mentions something about their own karma in a post, someone else is bound to rate them down for it for being perceived to be over-sensitive.

Also, if we tease you, it's because we like you. If we troll you, it's because we hate you. Or it's not because we hate you, it's because the Troll is unhappy and cross and feeling hollow.

It was MEANT to freaking hilarious. If it ended up only being mildly amusing then I must need to work on my delivery.

Though I have to say, I don't understand why "cockmaster" would be an insult. Such mastery (be you male, female or otherwise) seems like a rather useful skill to have.

Something something sandwiches something something not carrying themselves from the kitchen to the living room.

That's because it implies that one's wang is not a feral beast that cannot be tamed. One that you cannot master, only punch it into submission. With brass knuckles, if you're dealing with a particularly powerful specimen.

Both of the preceeding bad jokes brought to you by being 4 hours past my bedtime. I shall review and make corrections once I awaken from my slumber.

*fistbump*

I find the newbie to be rather presumptuous myself. Trying to tell other people on an internet forum how to be cool, when none of us even know you, just screams hypocrisy to me.

Personally, I hope everyone around I meet is a cockmaster. The world would be a brighter place.

How is being a master of the **** an unusual skill?

Male: Able to get off solo
Gay Man: See above, but not solo
Woman: Shows you know what to do, and hopefully you can make a sandwich with the other hand. You might also be a keeper.

Do people other than socks really do the whole "look at me, I'm knew here" schtick anymore? I mean, I think most real posters start by assimilating themselves on their respective gaming forums, and slowly working their way to the OOT. Not, "wow, look at this really interesting out of topic forum, with its posts about transsexual pneumonia and condom balloons. I think I'll stop here to socialize."
