Ok , so I was in school today, and I asked my friend if he likes world of warcraft.
Well he replied "What's world of Warcraft". So I sat down with him... We had a little chat and we got to the point eventually.

The story begins he claimed to have never played a game in his life.
And I replied that is possible but it's also impossible at the same time. Like, he is an outside person... I can admit that, but not
Playing a game in your whole life...? That's taking it advanced.

I bet he's played at least one game even it has to be damn Atari or something similar to that.

So that's probably the highlight of my day.

Also, maybe he's just not into video games. Couple of my high school mates were like that. Hell, I went to elementary school with a guy whose family didn't own a TV. Not because they couldn't afford it, but the parents just felt that their kids could do other stuff for their pass time.

I'm not saying it's a healthy approach, but it's a possibility.

You forget just how much high school sucked.

I wasn't either Kali. My parents thought that if I had access to video games, I'd never get homework done. But they let me watch TV and they still nagged and nagged until I get it done, so I think they just used that as an excuse. They didn't mind me playing video games on my computer when they bought me that, but they never did like the idea of me having a console game system. My first was a PS2 that I got as a high school graduation present from my godmother. She didn't want to get that for me either, but she asked what I wanted, so that's what I told her.

my mom recently shared the story about how when my brother was little, she and my dad would trade off feeding him and playing space invaders.

Not everyone plays or needs vodeo games. I didn't play my first video game till I was in my mid 20's. And that was on a friends Apple 2e computer. Years later I started my first Video game of my own on my first computer. It was FFXI about 12 years ago.

I remember high school as a lot of boring classes, a lot of drinking at lame parties and chasing tail way above my league.

Good times.

My high school experience was not typical, but I actually am pretty sure there were some folks in my school who never played video games either.

Then again, near the end of my senior year everyone had a Tamagotchi. I suppose that sort of counts as a video game.

I never got what the fun part was about those things.
