When the forums get slow I have developed a habit of picking a poster at random, going to their bookmarks and reading whatever thread title catches my eye. This has led to many lulz and filled in some blanks on poster histories I was unaware of.

So imagine my surprise when reading this thread I look down and see.....

Really? All of you decided to read an ancient thread too? Are you also playing the same forum game as I, or.......?

I guess I was under the impression that the user list was per thread, not per forum. Or is it? I R Smiley: confused

I don't think that feature means we were looking at that specific thread. Cause I haven't read that thread.

Probably just that we've been in this category (OOT) in the last few minutes.

I hate rereading old threads. Almost none of them are entertaining this long after the fact.

I also often see Kaelesh in them and am reminded that I miss that contrary ******.

Generaly, the threads in question are before I started here, so they are new to me.

This is what I read when I'm bored.... Darq linked this to me years ago and I've just always loved the thread.

Or...for the Everquest mood there is The SoW Story

Smiley: laugh

Y'know what? Everyone who comes across this thread should just link their favorite Alla thread and/or funny story link. Because I'm totally lazy like that.

PS: If any has a good link to Skatergnome stuff, I'd really love that, too. New comp, so all me faves need renewing.

PPS: Thanks for the /lg tags there, Dyadem!Smiley: lol

Well, that helps to explain Jophiels repeated use of the BANJO PLAYING LESBIANS meme so, on balance. this thread is already an winrar.Smiley: nod

+5000 posts. Of the millions of people who fisit this board, you are one of less than 20 individuals on this board who have survived this long. It's a mind trip.

You have to look at that now and wonder? Who is still around from back then? Now its 10k or 20k posts.

"Your posts", via however you feel like getting there (hover over your name in the top-right, or click the number of posts on your profile page).

Then just sort by ascending, or click to the last page.

This was mine:

I'm on Fairy server and an LS friend of mine was saying how he's killed this NM 40+ times. So I decide to check out the spawn point and head down there. The first night I waited around a little over 2 hours for this thing to spawn before it finally did. Of course my luck is I don't get the drop. However in those 2 horus I did make over 40K killing the Poison Funguars and Huge Wasps. After killing it the first time I couldn't wait around, I was too tired. I think I'll go farm/camp down there all day on my next say off. ^.^

Well, that was pretty much how I posted for the first part of my posting career, always trying to be helpful. That post is special, though, because I think it's the only one I ever made in the FFXI forums before switching to WoW.

Man, those were the days back then. That was before Katrina changed New Orleans completely. Before the Saints won the Super Bowl. Before I got married (and divorced), back when I was infatuated with the cute Vietnamese girl who worked in the store next to the Sprint store I was working at at the time.

With his eyesight it is more likely to be a large sewer rat or a raccoon.
