What are your goals? When will you achieve them?Follow

#1 Apr 17 2013 at 11:51 AM Rating: Decent
Some context: I watched a video on youtube that had clips about accomplishing some big goals in just a short amount of time. I don't totally believe it, so I'm curious about what others think about goals and how long people think it will take to accomplish them.

What are your goals? When will you achieve them?

I'm achieving goals for other people because I finished early.

My goal was to eat more healthily and so I bought a bag of Miss Vickies Sea salt and malt vinegar chips, as it contains Vitamin C, which I know if good for me.

Mmm vinegar on French fries.

I am always a little sad if I am out of state and go to a burger joint and they don't have malt vinegar.

They've recently become popular in the states, myself included. So damn tasty, even if my mouth hates me afterwards.

I'm more interested in the story of how he recently became popular in the states.

Well, at the very least they weren't really a thing in the south until the last few years. And let's be honest, no one cares about the north.

1) Lose weight. (about 80lbs in a year, I have 20 more to lose before I am at my target weight)

2) Quit smoking. (I am having trouble with this one. I went 5 days before I broke. Next attempt will be this summer)

3) Go back to school. (beginning of next year, I will be at my new job for a year and they do tuition reimbursement so that's probably gonna be Fall semester of 2014.)

Squashing spammers is an admirable goal. I recently dropped my spam posts to 0 on the test WordPress blog I write. Since those were the only comments I ever got, it's kind of lonely there now, but it's worth it not to have to log in daily and delete 15 crap posts.

I traveled the world. Ate guinea pig. Saw an orca eat a seal. And now I live in Japan.

My next goal will be completed at 12:45 today, I'm going to go eat some more delicious food.

I ate some brand of bacon and cheddar chips. I'm reasonably certain that there wasn't any actual bacon or cheddar in them though. Smiley: frown

But they still tasted good! Smiley: nod

I just realized it's been probably over a year since I've had a BLT. I know what Saturday breakfast is going to be now.

I'd be more impressed if you ate an orca eating a seal eating a guinea pig. The fabled orceala pig.

The size difference between the orca and the seal demands another animal or two...

You must be a premature achiever. Other people tend to achieve their goals a couple of times before I achieve my goal.

For time travel? Fifty for half, hundred for the full hour.
