ThePsychoticOne aka Rog was one of the more hated Moogle@#%^ers, but most of that hatred derived from him acting... well like you. I'm sure you'd be drinking buddies.
Basically he had 0 patience for idiots, and 0 filter when dealing with them. And plus he was one of the better red mages, and had tons of toys and solos under his belt. So I am sure part of the hatred came from him just casually breaking the game and laughing about it.
