The traditional thread continues for another year. In our continuing quest to foster interforum harmony and whatnot. As always, the Ask an admin thread is your chance to ask any or all of us Admins those questions that you've always wanted to know about the site, us, or anything else tangentially related. Also feel free to ask former admins if any of them hop in here. As usual, there are a couple rules related to what we can answer.
1. Any question is fair game, but we get veto rights. Bonus rate ups for particularily good questions. "why is "x" this way on the site?" "why does Admin Y hate tofu" etc? Feel free to be creative.
If we can't answer, we'll try to at least give you a reason for the veto. You can direct your question at any or all of the admins, and any of the admins or former admins are welcome and encouraged to answer throughout the thread
2. eh, you can ask about your karma score this year, but asking is still lame. Asking about Admin notes is also lame, and we'll probably start rumors about you in your admin notes if you do so.
4. If its a question that involves another user (for example, "did poster sam do X to poster george") we need permission from both involved users before we can answer, unless its something public knowledge.

It's been how many years now?
I want to tap the greymatter of the Admins here, including the Fiery Dragon himself. How has your journey through Zam's evolution been? I only joined up once FFXI became a thing, but have generally stuck through it.
I have seen some Admins come and go, and other ones join us, and others still stay for the long haul. How has it been on your end? How has the Admin community developed and changed for you?
Also. Exactly how many hairs lost/grey hairs gained has Kao suffered through on account of this site?

I suppose your answer will have to be corporate-approved cheery but how do you view the future of a large, multi-game website like this when so many games now hold you by the hand through quests and have well-populated official forums? I ask because I notice that forum participation seems to be down across the board even for large popular games like WoW and newer game forums never seem to take off. But then I play a game like Tera Online and it's no real wonder that you wouldn't need a quest/spoiler site because there's nothing much to really discover or decipher; you just go where the waypoint says to do, do what it says to do and get a predetermined reward. No open world camps, no named mobs with placeholders, etc.
