When you do a npc search for say "banker", it comes up with a list of npc names, but not zones. This causes 2 problems, a) you have to click on every banker to find out the zone they are in, and thus b) that increases the load on YOUR bandwidth, and thus slows it down for everyone else.
Searches need to be for what people actually search for.
E.g. if you have a quest involving "Terenthis", you search for him/her and it works perfectly.
BUT: If you want the nearest banker/trainer/rareitemvendor to <here/insert name of town>, the current search only helps a bit. Its fine if there are only say 2 vendors who sell something, but when its higher, it can get a bit hard. Especially in those towns where the guards dont give directions.
Another one I find myself searching for is: What zone should I go to in order to farm <tradeskill component>, however that search does list the zones, so its not too hard. That result is a bit longwinded though, so maybe you can save yourself some bandwidth by having a simple farming guide for the common items?
Edit because of following post.
WoW.
I got to this forum from the WoW forums list. If its a shared forum, then that should be made much more clear.
