I'm Sorry But. . .Follow

Hi to all Forum Administrators. I am here to inform you that someone is messing up my posting karma for making a post to greet everyone a Happy Holidays in the Phoenix Server Section. There was this one person who replied and showed so much anger. His name is "Hirotashi". The thread I started was not to anger or aggrivate anyone. I just wanted to share some of the Holiday Spirit in which I think was actually nice of me to even bother. Now, I actually do care about having positive karma in the Forums which I have gained since I created this account many months ago. I am the type of person who always cares about the scores they get, whether be scores that are important and scores that are unimportant, I enjoy and thank everyone who has rated my posts and think of them as helpful posts. I would just like to know if there is a way I can regain my "Guru" status once again because at the moment, I am back to my "Sage" status. Is there an alternative to getting the title back instead of waiting for people to rate me up again? Since I have a person always rating me down, I think that It will be really difficult to create threads and reply to people's threads when there is a person to rate me down continiously, watching over me like a freak with no life. I am also interested in knowing if there is a way to block such users that rate down people for no purpose, To watch and see if their way of rating posts actually makes sense rather than rating down people for no reason. I am sorry to bother you all to such a thread and for the length of this post. Thank You in advance and also, I wish you all had a great time celebrating your holidays.

Sorry if I also bothered you Kastigir, But in the post before this, I repetitively said sorry if it bothers anyone, even the title says sorry in it. Maybe I should have said that if it bothers you to read the post, please do not reply. I can also see that you have rated me down, the problem I'm trying to solve because this thread I started was to seek help and advice, not to start another rate down thread. and to the links I posted, My karma was either BELOW 3.41 OR CLOSE to 3.41. My lowest score there is 3.17. Anyway, I am sorry if this second post gets you fired up. Please do not take this in offense because I am just trying to clarify things. and if you think that Hirotashi's reply isn't something to cause a problem, please read again. So, you have less than 200 posts and you're unhappy with the fact that you gained Guru status and then lost it?

In the end, as long as you're above the default, your post can be seen. And as long as you're at least a Scholar, your posts will be more likely to be read. But you have little to nothing to worry about. Nothing that you say or do in these forums is going to be universally accepted. Take the rate downs with a grain of salt, and don't go looking for rate ups and you'll be fine.

It's just your karma rating on an internet forum. It's not really anything that important.
