Concern over FFXI Genral Discussion Forum - Problem PostersFollow

I want to make a complaint against some of the people in the FFXI General discussion forum who are taking part it what they call xeno-inquisition.

This post started by Sir XvExodusvX a sage of the forums was I believe intended as humor. I have no problem with the post itself, but it has seemed to of inspired some people to follow it's recommendations of pointlessly bumping rant threats with useless facts. Bumping these rant threads has been moving more relavant threads way down the list and even to other pages. The "inquisition" is actually doing the exact opposite of what the humor thread implied. It has become just a forum of spam posts lately.

I have two requests:

1. Please lock the thread started by Sir XvExodusvX that inspired the excessive spam.

2. Please add a temporary sticky about not bumping threads and to stay on topic or ignore the post.

I am dissapointed that our forum posters cannot behave properly and I dislike having to issue a complaint, but I believe it is needed in this situation.
