A question/suggestion for Illia or anyone who'd knowFollow

Would there be ANY way to implement an "ignore user" function? What I'm basically asking for is a way to make it so that I cannot read any posts, PMs, anything at all from a given user, as if they're permanently sub-default even if they're not? I expect this would take a lot of work, but I also think it would go a long way towards getting people to stop indulging in flame wars. If someone is just going ultra-spammy, like Nonlinear has in the Asylum lately, I could just add that user to my block list and not have to deal with them anymore. Just a suggestion, but I think it would be a TREMENDOUS help. Cheers.

Not easily codeable at this time. The way we would have to do it right now is have it compare every thread against an exclusion list every time it loaded. which would slow things down and dramatically increase storage requirements. Possibly after the cookie change, but as of right now, it is unfortunatly unfeesable

The PM ignore feature only has to compare against a few threads that are tied specifically to the user that owns that list.

That's cool. I figured it would probably slow things down quite badly. If it becomes an option in the future, awesome.
