Slow Servers AgainFollow
Ok, I don't know what the deal is with these slow servers but it is getting aggrivating. You guys supposedly got some new servers in a little while ago and the site is still laggy as hell. I wouldn't care as much, but I pay for this account. I am paying money to use a laggy *** site that is lagging 24/7. It is 7AM and it is slow. I could understand it being overloaded on Work days when people are posting all day, or when the servers are down, but right now??

The reason it is so slow at 7AM EDT is because the Karma calculation script is running and it is trying to calculate 500,000 users all at once. The admins have said that they will change the script so that it calculates in stages (like 50,000 users per run but have 10 runs a day). It also could be other problems such as the ISP or even someone doing a Denial of Service attack on the servers, but after the script is finished the site usually returns to normal speed.
We also just replaced the gateway server, full integration of it may not yet be complete, they may have been doing work on it at the time of the slowdown.
