I believe the mob value search for wow may be malfunctionFollow

It has plainstrider, a level 1 creature listed as being pretty profitable (35g a kill)and seems that it says some of the bosses like lord kazzak and azuregos listed as killed 1000's of times. Dunno, maybe missing something in the statistical end, but seems pretty out of whack.
