    Personally I think its more a thing with most people see sage's and guru's having been a big help to the community. Some people put in alot of help and don't get rewarded. Some people would like reconignition.

    Now, with high post counts the next doesn't matter too much, but at low it does.

    Some people get rated down for no reason what so ever, just because of trolls. At a lower post count this could cuase you drop below the filters quickly for no reason. Some people also keep a higher filter up (like have to be 3.0 or higher) so with a lower score (for no reason) your posts may not be seen.
