Link Problem?Follow

I just noticed a possible problem with the way links work. If I post a long link like this:

https://secure.playonline.com/polapps/s/s.kb.html.Qa?ZUID=3&polg_loc=en&id=2527&qs=id%3D0%26c1%3D0%26c2%3D0%26k%3Dsaving%2Bmacros%26s%3D0%26o%3D0%26term%3D0%26caseNum%3D10%26polg_loc%3Den

It works fine, but when I use the URL button to make a link like this (it's the same link), it times out on the new page. I'm using the FFXI skin and Firefox 1.04. I'll see if I can determine what URL comes out with the second link.

Edit: It doesn't show any link while the page is loading and shows "about:blank" in the Page Info screen.

The first link is httpS the second link is http

Doesn't look like the parser is handling the httpS properly

Update: Fixed.

Anyhoo, made some changes to link parsing.

I wanted to ensure that the site a link is to is always available. It now appears as a title= attribute, so mouseover'ing any link in the forum should provide where it is linking to.

This doesn't prevent redirection from obscuring a true destination, but there's nothing I can do about that.
