Hello,
For the last year a person on the fenrir server forum has been trolling players with ratings. It was over a silly argument and really shouldnt have ment much to this poster.
But it did, and has been the cause of numerous fights amoung people who asume someone is rating them down only to have it BE this poster with her numerous ratebots.
This past week is no exception, and has been one of the worst with karma. While my personal feeling is I dont care, when it come to Karma, good people who never post are getting rated almost to subdefault and it upsets me.
I would like it if someone could please look into the problems going on in our forum dealing with karma and take action on the person responcible who I know it has been since the begining.

A user named Etain has a bot supposedly named Binya that she has been using to troll other users, possibly even myself. One user she has definetly been trolling is Capek.

I don't have a bot, I had a second account that I was primarily using to fix the massive rate-downs Stephmo and HER 2 raters had kindly given me.
In case you haven't noticed Khori, I have not even been IN the Fenrir forums since Capek decided to be an *** and make my PRIVATE Pms to him public after he said otherwise.
For the record, Falconfire is referring to Stephmo and her multiple rate accounts.
Also, when my paid service runs out, I will not be renewing it. I do not like that fact that the Alla admins freely give out user information and IP information to any user who asks for it. That's not why I'm paying for this service, nor am I paying to be griefed by people who don't like me. Pop-up blocker works fine when I'm browsing the forums not logged in- I only log in to reply to a thread here or there nowadays, then almost immediately log out.
If you want to get to the heart of the matter, no-rate both (or however many she has) of Stephmo's other accounts.

Maybe I don't. And I never have. But thanks for pointing out that bad assumptions made by folks who HAVE two accounts can get out of control.
EDIT: Etain, here's where Falconfire claimed YOU were given IP addresses. So, for being so upset about "IPs being freely given out," you guys really wanted folks to be upset.

This was also where you promised to abuse the Karma system. Prior to this point, you believed another user was your "rate bot." Later, I became your rate bot. I did rate your posts down in that thread because they were threatening and malicious - and for that reason, I felt they were "Awful."

You should probally read at least some of that thread for a more complete understanding of the situation.
We have bad bouts of Trolling on the Fenrir server forum from time to time. Its in one of its lulls currently so it might not be easy to see.
Most of us long time posters just ignore it for the most part and move on. However as I'm sure you admins are aware their is much drama that results in Karma. Also conspiracy theories about who is trolling who and such.
In Etains defense she did have some kind of stalker for a while that went back and karma bombed all of her weekend accomplioshment and other easy to find threads from months and months ago. I happened to notice when going back to read some of our nostalgic noob requests from the beginning of the forum.
I was disapointed to find out that etain had been using a sock to bomb Capek because he had said something to offend her in a thread however.
Most of the time we never know who is trying to be vindictive with the Karma tool, but no bigie.
For the most part I enjoy these forums alot. I find they are a great resource for game information. Also I have met many great people from our server and found my LS on the Fenrir forum.

Just to echo what Shogen is saying here - this is what I believe all of this rate-down nonsense really is...there are days that random threads go up and all posters are rated down.
Of late, feelings have been running high in our forums and I think someone felt like adding fuel to the fire by rating down. Or several people did - if I could put money down, I'd guess it's someone that doesn't even post but has the ability to rate.
Etain, I have done some digging around. You were hit by a single user with about 180 ratedowns over the course of an hour on March 7th. This person did not do anything like that before that incident, and has not done anything like that since. He has been warned another slip-up means a NORATE flag.
Other than that, you are not being camped.
Stephmo has actually rated you up more than she has rated you down. And she does not have a ratebot. The only ratebot in this thread is your own, which is about to lose its rating ability.
