Hey all just wondering if anyone else is getting the new Circit City advertisements, I know it's not allas fault, considering they don't pick the exact popups, and I know ill just get a go pay for premium somewhere in the mix but I was just wondering if these are really bugging any of the other users.

If anyone is wondering, the popups are the ones that float across the screen and everytime I try to click on a thread I click on the link by mistake.

Why is this in the feedback forum, just asking if the Admins could request the particular removal of these "floater" popups

Next time you get one make note of which banner ads are showing on the page, and the serving ad company if it is displayed.

Found it!!!

Circuit City ad with massively annoying pop-ups.

One of them uses adobe flash player and requests to have pointroll.com to have access to your web-cam.

the other has the address of: http://network.realmedia.com/RealMedia/ads/click_lx.ads/zmnallakhazam/ros/728x90/1834entgmsmentns/ss/a/14345678964/1454729780/Top1/OasDefault/BCN2007060098_04_CircuitCity/CIrcuitCity_PR_728x90_July_BB4.html/34336234343035343436396263323830?http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/home.do?Key=456098

the image properties are at the location of: http://speed.pointroll.com/PointRoll/Media/banners/trans.gif?PRAd=405034

So far I have run across two different Circuit City ads with the large take over your screen in pop-up that interfere when trying to post replies or go and view different topics.

They are in the FFXI skin, and I have viewed them both on the server forum boards and here on the feedback board.

Thanks for the link. I can't get the ad to open, but since I have the name of the advertiser and the ad provider's address is in the link, I know who to call to take it down. Thanks for the heads up, we'll get rid of this one ASAP.
