Scholar and Guru have the same yellow color when viewed in the forum making it impossible to tell the difference just by looking at them.
Maybe Guru could be a little more orange?
Pink even.
Just a different color would be handy.

I think making guru appear as pink on the FFXI forums is a great idea.

Maybe I'm a touch color blind but it's hard for me to see the difference.
I admit that it is there but that's a lot of eye strain.
A color change would make it much easier.

HEll I am still trying to figger out why I see red as White and the black out tags are opposite. I got used to it though.

I concur! If I don't pay attention, I find it hard to see the difference. Pink seems like a suitable replacement for bright yellow.
Hard to mistake pink for anything else.

I support the color change to something not yellow(pink is reasonably acceptable).

ANything but the yellow. I can usualy tell at a glance ifthey are scholar or Guru, but the double yellow just makes me want to go eat pudding. Pink might not always make me so hungry. How many pink foods are there besides jello?

On Firefox they look almost excatly the same.

The truth is that I'd love to change the ffxi title colours to the eq norm.
scholar = blue
sage = green
guru = red.
the problem is that I think many people would consider those colours to be a downgrade.
I do agree though that the sage and guru colours are nearly identical. I'll see what I can do.
edit: adjusted the shadings a little.

Now I swear that the Scholar and Guru colors have completely switched... Scholar used to be more of a golden color while Guru was neon yellow, and now it's exactly the opposite. Ohnoes.
