I know, I'm sorry. I wish I could do more here. But we had a surprisingly large number of users who complained--not just about not receiving their magazines (which the publisher says was our fault, and on our end sure seems like it was theirs), but also about having to sign up for the magazines in the first place, when they didn't want them. We got repeated emails saying "I'm not signing up for premium until you take out that magazine crap, I don't want to give out my address", and several people demanding that we give them a discount off of the premium price--which was the same price as it has always been--because they didn't want the magazine. The publishers also asked us to verify payment confirmation for an internal audit--but if I understand correctly, Visa requires us to remove personal information from our database when an account expires or is cancelled, meaning that most of the information they wanted we had been forced to delete. It was a partnership that made no one happy, so we had to end it before things got worse.
As far as the beta invites, Drak and I will look into this and see what's up. Hopefully we'll have news for you soon.

The key is "priorty access" to beta, meaning when they invite more people you get in first. The problem is they haven't invited more people.... I was just talking to them a couple days ago and they have been at 3k people in beta for a couple months now.
The big push should be coming very soon now, I was told within a week or two - and that's when everyone who has a key entered will get in. We were told initially it would only be a week or two but well, I guess plans change, so I can't fault Flying Labs.

Actually, the key is "priority access" to the beta meaning that you go to the head of the line to be considered. You still may be passed over for other reasons (system specs for example but maybe they weigh the answers you give on the app or something).

To be honest, the magazine sucked anyways. Why bother when you can sign up for Gamespot or the like and actually get content and downloads up to the minute.
