Select some forums and then let it sit on the live view page and watch.

Pretty cool, the animation was a bit choppy in Firefox but that's pretty slick.

So have you guys ever thought of trying an RSS feed? Probably wouldn't work for the busier forums (unless you went by new posts instead of replies but even then it would be too busy in most cases).

Rather than refreshing to see how things move along, this automatically updates so you don't have to reload.

/le sigh. I didn't say "I fail to see how it works". I said, "Whats the point?" I'm perfectly able to figure it out, all by my lonesome, what it does, thank you very much.

IMO, it's a novelty at best.

Link is odd... It's all... elongated. The menu colors stretch across the page and the content is squished all the way at the bottom.

Odd.

All that thing is telling me is slow OOT is slow and I don't need to bother refreshing it. Personally I think the anticipation of waiting for a reply is the best thing about a forum, otherwise we might as well all be on MSN or Gabbly or something.

Really neat toy.

Just a suggestion, when you click on a thread to view can you make it open a new window/tab?

I like it. And I second Iamadam's suggestion. This workstation won't allow me to right click.

What if you could make certain threads to watch in Alla Live, just like you can select forums?

Another suggestion:

The option to show the entire post as shown in the forum.

EDIT:

A small bug. When you click on a post that's not on the first page, it only goes to the first page.

That'd be pretty neat, but fairly difficult to do. Theres a lot more to keep track of to do it by thread, compared to forums.

I can do this as a premium-only option, but I think it's too heavy to open up to everyone. I enabled it like that for now, still needs a little work, tho. Just switch to "Full Post" view on options.

Yeah, I'm aware of this one, but it's kind of tricky to fix. It's on my list to fix soon.

This should be fixed now. The same bug should also be fixed on forum search results and user post list pages as well.
