[FFXI] Did I miss something?Follow

Went to add some stuff to the Blue Mage page and noticed that all the job pages seem to be erased, excluding warrior and black mage. I noticed some graphical changes (mainly the bubble icon for the bullet points) so are these pages "under construction", vandalized, or am I just looking in the wrong place?

I followed the links from the main wiki page if that helps.

Someone moved the job pages. Many of the jobs in FFXI are similarly named to jobs in other games (warrior, paladin for example) Once we get wikis for other games up and running, we need a way to keep the pages separate. The URL's have been changed from Warrior, to Warrior (FFXI) so the WoW warrior page can be named Warrior (WoW).

There is a section on this in the Guidelines page.

It seems as though the Devs are working on a workaround with this too. I'll keep you updated.

Sorry that was me, actually. We had to move the pages now before too many links got posted to it. As it is, all the spells and abilities are linked to the old articles and have to be edited.

Please remember that in many cases a link to the database listing is better than just recreating work already in place. I saw someone had created a page for Gysahl Greens which was basically exactly the same as the db entry and it even had a link to the db entry. No need to create parallel info, try to keep articles like these to textual explanations with links to the db entry.
