I have a quick question about all the original pages that existed before the wiki project. I noticed some pages, like mob pages and quest pages have had a wiki window attached to it. Was wondering if all pages, like armor and items, will have this window added?
Kind of seems like the answer will be yes, but just wanted to check.

That is unclear right now. I've heard arguments for and against FFXI Item: pages, if it were my decision, the item pages would be linked, but that is coming from a newb-admin who hasn't had much experience with the database yet.

Illia is very much against adding the wiki to item description boxes, so the wiki will have to just link to the database page. An out of date page with missing information should be reported to ffxiteam@allakhazam.com
I just wanted to add a bit of my own reasoning to this as well.
Things in game like dynamis, certain quests, missions etc. fit well with having a wiki tab because there is so much information in there our db can't encompass it fully.
I am sure someone could write a few thousand word essay on the history and dynamics of dynamis.
Anyway, while that is good and all, and some people may want to read that, I don't think people would be equally receptive to a few thousand word essay on, for example; Copper Ore.
It's just a matter of what fits better with what.
So for now, items will not be seeing a wiki tab.
