I'd really like an explanation regarding these court documents (http://docs.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/florida/flsdce/1:2007cv21403/296927/20/0.pdf) in which it seems very much like Affinity Media is admitting to being owned by IGE.

According to the PDF, on June 7, 2007, the plantiff filed a suit against IGE US. On June 27, 2007, John Maffei announced that Affinity Media was selling off IGE.
It might surprise you to know this, but the legal suits against IGE/Affinity on June 7th don't magically go away on June 27th. Rather, John Maffei & Co are still under suit and the company being sued is refered to as "IGE US n/k/a Affinity Media".
All it means is that the name has changed since the original suit was filed. It, in no way, offers evidence of what Affinity Media has been up to since June 7th, 2007. Affinity Media could be in the popsicle buisness and it would still be a suit against "IGE US n/k/a Affinity Media".
Incidentally, you can read the entire exchange of legal documents here. I was kind of amused by the attempts to serve Brock Pierce at the wrong apartment address.
