We used to be able to see our rating and our user number. I know rime killed our ability to see our rating number but since when, and why, have we not been able to see our user number? :/

I mouseover your name and your user number appears in the task bar at the bottom of my screen. I get the same number if I click your name, it appears in the address bar at the top. Am I missing something?

Welp, that explains why they were taken away.

They used to be listed in the same place where you see your postcount iirc, but I guess since you can find them out like that I guess they were taken out of there.

It's just not in the first 5 places I would look when trying to find my user number. Smiley: lol

The only way I know of is checking your journal? The URL contains your number.

So does the URL if you click the username.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/poster.html?user=293330

For instance.

The user number used to show with the post count, not in the URL, when you clicked a user name.

I first noticed it was gone a few months ago.

I'm starting to think it may have been in both the url and with the post count, it's just that some people never noticed more than one of the two.

It was in both. At least I always remembered it being in the URL.

Sorry, I made that post right before my nap and thought you were talking about some admin only thing. :P

I should have worded it better.

It's always been in the URL as far as I know but the "not in the URL" portion was meant as "in a place other then the URL" in regards to the account information page that other people see when they click on your name.

Edit: Still a little confusing.

Could anyone be so kind as to tell the Rimesume story in full please? I'm just curious.

He's a douche. He whined about his karma. Rate down, rate down. Numbers removed.

That's all you missed.

Ah, I was hoping for an epic story of intrigue and derring-do.

I'm underwhelmed.
