How to link items on guild forums?

Hello, I have a simple question.

How would one do to link WoW items in a guild forum.

For example I would like to link on my guild forums the Mongoose Enchant, how would I do so? I tried copy pasting the link from several sites, either it shows just the image, or a link, but not the PNG alakhazam is having that when I mouse over the image it shows me the item stats/or mats to create etc.

is there a plugin I install on forums? Like an item pack or something?

How do I do that? thanks :)

Short answer: you can't.

Technical answer: The mouseover data is called when you mouse over the link. In order for this to work you have to be asking for the data from the same website that both has the link and the data.

The webmaster of your site could, however, build an app to do that and get the raw item data from http://wow.allakhazam.com/cluster/item-xml.pl?witem=22559

Sorry, I don't have any information on 3rd party plugins. We don't support them. We do however encourage them by making the item data available in xml format for easy parsing.
