Allakhazam error? (was forum=10)Follow

#1 Dec 24 2007 at 11:31 AM Rating: Decent
hey all,

It has been about one week now but every time I come to this site and open a new page in a tab I can not close it without IE getting an error and having to shut down. I have tested this with many other sites and this is the only site that is having trouble with tabs. I have checked my computer for viruses, spyware, adware all that fun stuff and nothing has come up at all...

Anyone else have this problem? or had and fixed it?

Maybe it's IE? Personally I use firefox and have never had any issues.

Even if it's not IE, this is a good chance for you to upgrade from that POS anyway.

Using IE I can't seem to replicate the problem.

Could you be more specific and give as much info as you can about any specific pages/examples/browser version/etc

I can at least tell you he's using IE7, because none of the prior ones had the tab feature that I can recall. Whether they update it regularly enough to get more specific than that, I don't know.

Do you have any toolbars installed? I've read on some computer help forums that IE7 doesn't play well with toolbars of any kind and tosses out the "IE has encountered a problem blah blah" errors resulting in shutting down IE. The only fix I've read about (so far) is uninstalling any toolbars you may have (google, yahoo, ect).
