I don't see a need to ban posters for reacting to the OP. I did nuke a couple spam posts but I also see that you are egging on the flame war yourself so that probably doesn't help. Going forward, the easiest way to make assistance difficult is to be part of the problem.

However, I will watch it for awhile and see what happens.

I am quite familiar with that forum and the craftermath issue.

Unless a thread degenerates into direct hostile posts, such as expletives and personal attacks, we let the karma system do what it is designed to do. Frankly, after reading through it, both of you are equally responsible for the thread degenerating to where it was when I popped in.

Again, I still see no need to ban anyone on that thread. There is more than sufficient reason to mute a few people but I have decided not to at this point. I will simply keep an eye on it and address the individual issues should they arise.
