Occasionally after clicking either the rate up or down arrow, it will reappear, and coincide with no visible Karma change for a post. I'd been assuming it hadn't gone through, so after repeating that a couple times (still no visible change) posts seem to jump from Good to Sub-Default, for example like this post, which was rated good, but then plunged.

It didn't seem that way, unless they all rate down in a 5 second window that coincided with my clicks.
I had that happen today as well. I've also had it where clicking one arrow acts as though I'm clicking the other, though it's only happened when I'm trying to rate down. (And yeah, I'm sure I'm not missing.)

.I just assume that from the time that I loaded the page to the time I rated the post down, someone else had rated it up and it just doesn't update the rating until I click the down arrow.
