What is wrong with this picture?Follow

Why has this picture been reported twice, and nuked both times? Its a simple jab at Mormons, and is my entry into the OOT's image contest. Do we live in the Middle-East? I'm pretty sure you're allowed to make religion jokes here.

What makes me even more dubious is that this image of a BDSM Last Supper has been reported AND OKd by the admins. Double standard much?

I have no problem with that picture. I just don't see how something like that makes it through and mine didn't. I'd assumed that it takes nudity/gore/bigotry to get a pic banned from your account files.

Like I said I have no clue who has reported it or nuked it and there doesn't seem to be too many peeps on atm.

Edit: I uploaded the image 3 separate times (twice in the contest thread, and once for this one). This may or may not have annoyed an admin, I don't know. Thought I'd throw that out there.

But probably the ones nuking/reporting are lurkers who are too afraid to come in and say "ITS-A-ME! THE NUKER!! *Sub-Default*".

Regarding admin standards. People are different, and there are a bunch of us. I will nuke anything that exceeds our PG-13 guidelines on general principal regardless of my personal feelings about the content. On the other hand if some other admin determines that a picture is offensive enough to remove it, that is generally their call on the spot and we'll support it. I would much rather have a thousand questionable images removed than leave 1 bannable image intact.

The picture system will always err on the side of caution. That is the price for the privalage of having images on the site.
