I've noticed that if I click the little red arrow next to a thread to go immediately to the newest post, and there are any images posted in the thead, then it drags me back up the page as they load. I clicked on an arrow in the OOT and it took me halfway up the page because it was an "Image time" type of thread. Is there anything can be done about that, or is it just a little quirk that we deal with for the images?

The post sizes load first bringing you to the last post then the images load stretching the posts thus making the page longer.
Not sure if thats an easy fix
