I know banning stupid is out of the question, but how about locking rickrolls? They're the kind of thing I expect to see on the Oboards, and we're better than that.

Rick Rolls aren't bad, per se. They're just a whole new level of stupid perpetuated upon the internet by people who think it's fun to link you to something and have it be something else.
It's a joke that got really out of hand on the WoW Official Boards, and quite frankly it annoys the crap out of me. Not to mention that at the least, it doesn't really belong on the gaming boards.
That's why I asked about it.
My O boards account is banned due to Rick Rolling, I learned my lesson after that to never do it again. Banning rick rollers here might seem harsh but you would be teaching them a valuable lesson in life and they wouldn't do it again. You would be helping them to become a better human being. Years later they will be thanking you for it. Ban the ******** seriously.

Meh, Rickrolling never bothered me. Mostly because the people that tend to do it usually link to a youtube vid with next to no explanation. This is one of the things I immediately rate down and ignore. If someone can't be bothered to at least build up a reasonable explanation as to why someone should click on their link, then it's not really something anyone should bother clicking on. I fully approve of the mutes/bans though. It's less crap I have to wade through to get to the interesting bits.
