There has been a murmur among the admins about how your average poster, like myself, can rate someone into oblivion via a bug in the website.

IRC Chat wrote:
[23:50] Kaolian: fair warning to all in here by the way. If you are deliberatly using the multirate trick, and yes, I can tell, you;re going to get permanently norated.
[23:51] Sira: :O theres a multirate trick?
[23:51] Kaolian: yes. Don't use it\
[23:51] MDenham: I only click on the button multiple times if it's not going away for the servers being slow.
[23:51] Kaolian: thats not the trick so you're ok

So, my question is "How do I know that I'm doing the trick, so I can stop, and not get no-rated?"

Because I don't want to goof it up and end up dead on the forums...y'know

So as long as we just rate one person to oblivion, it's all good? :D

This is very disconcerting. Hope this bug gets fixed ASAP!

It requires a deliberate set of actions to trigger. And it leaves a rather unique signature in your rate profile. That comment was directed at the people who are activly using it and doing so on an oft repeated basis.

It's also no longer possible to occur thanks to the Devs plugging that particular hole in the system. So, yeah.

See what happens when you open your big mouth?

We actually get work out of the devs! Keep it up!
